Redtooth Imagery brought me in to help with an agency campaign for Zic Oil. I used some photography provided by the agency but in order to get just the right angles, I used 3D renders for many of the images in the composites.
The tree, for example, of the outdoor composite, is a 3D render. The great thing about 3D is that I can render with a mask and place the image seamlessly. This can be done for stills or motion saving lots of time and money, keeping focus on the creative process.
You’ll notice the last image has a textured background, that was the original direction but we changed to the white. I like showing the process and decisions that happen during a project.
